This photo is probably fake but it is still extremely creepy to look at.
I am hoping to venture out in the coming weeks to some of the haunted locations in my area and take some photos. I will drop them on this page...... until then if you find yourself alone in the dark and you think you hear the sound of footsteps coming from a room you know is empty or you feel a chill wash over you as if an icy finger traced the curve of your neck.
TURN ON THE LIGHT!
Something is in there with you.

The Old Jail Museum in JimThorpe Pennsylvania is home to a mysterious hand print. The legend is that a man set to hang for murder placed his hand in the dirt on the floor of his jail cell and then placed it on the wall.
He then stated
" This hand print will
remain as proof of my innocence."
remain as proof of my innocence."
According to the legend the hand print has remained on the wall even after being scrubbed over, painted and even removing that part of the wall and re plastering.
This picture is from the old jail museum website.
You can no longer take your own pictures of the hand print.
The jail has some history of being haunted with visitors and employees hearing noises or seeing shadows. There are also reports of feeling ill or uncomfortable. I did not feel anything when my family and I spent the day at the old jail and surrounding very quaint town. The only spot that felt the least bit uncomfortable was the solitary holding area. It is below the jail...very dark and very creepy. But I believe that is only because of its location and the fact that their is mold everywhere and the cells are pitch black when you look into them. I shot a few photos but unfortunately did not catch any strange mists or orbs.
I plan to visit several haunted sites this summer and I will share my experience with you here on this page.
I plan to visit
Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia
Pennhurst State School and Hospital
Fort Mifflin
These are supposedly some of the most haunted sites in my area.
